Have you tried Injera, wat, gomen, or kitfo? Then you need to try authentic Ethiopian food at– Zeni Ethiopian Restaurant.
Zeni Environment: Inside there’s two seating options: regular table/chairs or traditional. Our suggestion, if you’re having Ethiopian food for the first time, go traditional and dive into the culture.
Zeni Staff : Passionate, friendly, responsive, and attentive. The reason I lead with passionate is that this not a run-of-the-mill restaurant. This food has tradition, legacy, and a deep culture. Ask questions and you’ll appreciate your experience a lot more

Zeni Food: The biggest surprise to us was Injera – a spongy sourdough-risen flatbread that is commonly made with teff flour. Everything we ate, we picked up and ate with Injera. We ordered from their vegetarian menu and their beef menu. Flip through their menu, stumble through pronouncing something and give it a try.
Zeni Overall: This was an experience. We also enjoyed the food but we really enjoyed trying something that had flavor unlike anything we had experienced before.
Zeni Location:
1320 Saratoga Ave, San Jose, CA 95129
Zeni Hours:
11:30 am – 9:30 pm
